"Orford had impressed so far"
The Bulls charge has begun after Bradford registered their first win of the season against Castleford Tigers.
After starting the season with consecutive defeats away against Huddersfield and at home against St Helens, Bulls and coach Steve McNamara were relieved to get two points on the board and will be looking to double them against Salford. The season began with a trip to the Galpharm Stadium to take on a Huddersfield side who promised much last season but ultimately failed to delver. Things didn't start well when the Giants went 16-0 up thanks to a double form Leroy Cudjoe and a touchdown from Shaun Lunt, but Stuart Reardon and Rikki Sheriffe pulled the visitors back into the game before half-time.
Bradford went in 16-8 down at the break and could have been even closer if not for Paul Sykes' wayward kicking, the first time that Paul Deacon's absence was truly felt. The result was sealed after the half-time, however, when new Huddersfield recruit David Fa'alogo scored on his debut and the instrumental Brett Hodgson converted, although Stuart Reardon did manage to pull another four points back for the Bulls and nearly claimed his hat-trick when held up over the Giants' line.
