The season has not even come to an end yet Bradford Bulls have already bolstered their squad with a number of key signings which will give the side an edge heading into Super League XV.
First of all, the team will welcome back Stuart Reardon into the fold following three years at Warrington.
The talented utility back began his senior career at Bradford and scooped the coveted Harry Sunderland Award for his man of the match display in the 2003 Grand Final victory over Wigan, and has expressed his delight at coming back to his home town club.
I hope to have much more on this development next month with an exclusive interview with the star.
Meanwhile, the Bulls' ranks have been further bolstered after the side beat off competition from a number of Super League sides to sign Danny Sculthorpe.
The 30-year-old prop forward has been a thorn in Bradford's side for many years with some impressive displays against the Odsal team, and Steve McNamara said he will be an effective replacement for the outgoing Sam Burgess.
"When I've coached against him, we've really had to counter him in terms of his fantastic off-load ability in any situation. He's one of a dying breed. He will suit the way we want to play the game," the coach explained.
Another key signing was that of former Cronulla player Brett Kearney, who will join the side this month following a number of impressive seasons with the Sharks.
