Then do what the people of Wibsey (and much further a field) have been doing for 18 years and visit Incognito. Situated at the bottom of Wibsey High Street, the thriving business has been run by Sue since its formative years, and shows no sign of slowing down. As one of very few fancy dress shops in West Yorkshire, customers understandably come from far and wide to peruse the selection of superheroes, nurses, 70s outfits and many more. All the items are available for hire, but a large number of costumes and props are also sold, particularly at the back end of the year- what Sue refers to as ‘busy season’ due to Halloween, Christmas and the New Year. This year, for example, a party of 75 all required outfits for October 31st- they were not left disappointed. With the option to buy, hire, accessorise, or fully transform, Incognito is the only shop you need.

Situated next door, Sue’s daughter Lisa lends the building a family feel as the proprietor of Celebrations party shop. Continuing the party theme, Celebrations is the purveyor of balloons, banners, cards and more, all personalised by Lisa herself. The personal touch extends to pictures, images, messages and the set-up process itself, as everything from weddings to christenings to Bar Mitzvahs are catered for. Furthermore, orders of over £50 will receive free set-up from Lisa at the venue in question. After 7 years in Wibsey, the shop is now as much an establishment as Incognito itself, with regular customers and word-of-mouth ensuring the trade, particularly in helium balloons, is stronger than ever.
