The new owners of Wyke’s Italian restaurant have added a touch of glamour to Towngate. The restaurant has been completely gutted, even down to a new floor and bar. The refit of Il Tartufo has transformed it into a sophisticated and modern venue giving the restaurant a new lease of life. For 16 years Antonio and Tommasina owned a restaurant in Hebden Bridge and they have worked with their chef, Sergio, for many years.Il Tartufo now has an a la carte menu, as well as daily specials and a set menu. Tomasina says that they are maintaining the child friendly and family atmosphere that it is so typical of Italian restaurants. There is something for everyone on the menu from a 2 course meal starting at only £9.90 to delicious fresh seafood and steak dishes. They they now also cater for parties and weddings.
